COVID-19 Protocols

COVID Safety Precautions: The Old City Performing Arts Center is fully committed to the health and safety of its actors, patrons and staff. Due to the recent local spike in the Delta variant of COVID-19, R&R asks that all of us do our part to end the pandemic so we can return safely to in-person events. Joining hundreds of theater and event venues across the country in order to provide as safe an environment as possible, effective August 23 and through at least October 31, 2021,* all events whether public or private will be subject to the following protocols**:

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR ADULTS 18 & UP
Adults must possess and present a valid photo ID, along with EITHER of the following:

A printed or digital copy of a verified negative COVID-19 test result, matching the photo ID and administered within 72 hours of the day of event, by or under the supervision of a healthcare professional. Free tests are available at multiple locations. For more information on testing, click here. BINAXNow and Ellume COVID-19 home tests will be accepted, but only those verified via telehealth supervision.
OR

A valid COVID-19 vaccination record matching the photo ID, demonstrating complete vaccination at least two weeks prior to the day of the event. Documentation can be in the form of a photo of the card on a mobile phone, a physical photocopy, or the original card.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR MINORS
For minors eligible for the vaccine (ages 12 – 17) but without a photo ID, a verified negative COVID-19 test result OR a valid COVID-19 vaccination record alone will be accepted.

For minors ages 2 – 11, masks must be worn at all times. Masks will be available upon request.

TO HELP KEEP YOU AND OTHERS SAFE
Masks are required for all attendees at ticketed events, regardless of vaccination status. Masks will be available upon request. Performers, crew, and all venue staff are subject to the exact same negative test/proof of vaccination requirements, and mask requirements (where possible) as event attendees.

We have upgraded our HVAC system to include needlepoint bipolar ionization systems and higher-MERV-rated air filters, which has been proven to significantly reduce airborne viruses.
After every ticketed event, the entire Theatre will be fully cleaned and sanitized, with focused attention on high-traffic areas.

If you test positive and/or are sick with COVID-19 within 14 days of an event for which you hold a ticket, please contact our staff  and we will facilitate a full refund of your purchase.

We know this time is incredibly stressful and tensions are running high but it is our hope that through this commitment to our mutual health and safety we can return more quickly to a semblance of normalcy and get back to telling stories about our shared humanity together in-person.
